Alex Jimenez has been suspended by Bournemouth as the club launches an investigation into his social media activity.

The 21-year-old Spanish right-back, who joined from AC Milan last summer, will miss Saturday’s Premier League match against Fulham.
A club statement read: “AFC Bournemouth are aware of posts on social media involving right-back Alex Jimenez. The club recognizes the seriousness of the matter, which is currently under investigation. As a result, Alex will not be part of the squad for tomorrow’s league game against Fulham, and no further comment will be made at this stage.”
Jimenez initially arrived on loan before securing a permanent transfer in February, signing a contract with the south coast side until 2031. He has made 32 appearances for Bournemouth this season and scored once—in the 3-2 home victory over Liverpool.
