The complete starting lineup for Sunday’s MotoGP race at Le Mans has been confirmed after Marc Marquez was forced to withdraw due to injury.

Factory Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia secured pole position for the French Grand Prix after topping Saturday’s qualifying session at the Le Mans circuit. This marks the Italian’s first pole since last year’s Malaysian Grand Prix and the second for Ducati in the 2026 season, following Marc Marquez’s impressive lap at the Spanish Grand Prix last month.

Marquez was initially set to join his teammate on the front row but suffered a severe high-side crash during the sprint race, resulting in a foot injury that will sideline him for both Sunday’s race and next weekend’s Catalan Grand Prix. The Spanish rider is scheduled to undergo surgery on his broken foot, as well as a previously planned operation on his right shoulder after a screw became dislodged.

With Marquez out, all other riders move up one position. Aprilia rider and championship leader Marco Bezzecchi will now start from second place, while Fabio di Giannantonio on the VR46 Ducati lines up third on the grid.

The second row features Pedro Acosta (KTM), Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), and Joan Mir (Honda), representing their respective manufacturers. Sprint race winner Jorge Martin (Aprilia) will start from seventh place, while last year’s French GP winner Johann Zarco (LCR) moves up to 10th. Rain is forecast for Sunday’s race.
