**Álvaro Ferllo:** Despite showing some uncertainty, he was commanding from outside the box and in aerial duels, proving decisive in the closing stages. He saved a penalty from Diawara to secure the victory just as drama loomed. The Riazor crowd gave him a standing ovation, and he once again became a hero for Depor in the final stretch.
**Ximo Navarro:** In a dull first half, he was the player who best understood the need for a faster tempo. His boots produced the most dangerous plays and the team’s corner kicks. However, he ran out of steam after the break, and his midweek discomfort limited his minutes.
**Lucas Noubi:** He grew into the game. In the second half, he showed strength and put in a solid performance. As always physically superior, he cemented his place in the starting lineup for another week.
**Loureiro:** After being dropped from the XI, the Cerceda native regained his spot. He lacked confidence in the first half but gradually grew into the game.
**Quagliata:** The Italian full-back was intense from the first minute, constantly seeking a goal with penetrating runs down his flank. He defended well and, as usual, added an extra layer of intensity.
**Riki:** Lasted only 45 minutes. A very weak performance. He showed deficiencies in his movement, offered little support to the team, and provided no security at the back. His yellow card in the first half also contributed to his poor display. His impact was minimal.
**Mario Soriano:** Always reliable. Mario never fails and is a safe bet over 90 minutes. He showed a more combative side and almost acted as captain in the hottest moments. A crucial touch in the final seconds prevented a dangerous Leganés attack.
**Alti:** Leganés found a gap on Depor’s right flank in the first half, partly due to Alti’s inaccuracies. He moved to full-back in the second half and almost caused a disaster with a back-pass that Noubi had to save. Not his best game.
**Luismi:** Took on the role of a creative player. Decisive. He dribbled in tight spaces, dictated the tempo, and laid the ball on a plate for Zaka to change a dull game. A touch of class.
**Yeremay:** After already playing the full 90 minutes in Burgos, Hidalgo trusted him with another complete match. He showed quality touches but isn’t yet at his peak form.
**Nsongo Bil:** He continues to improve week by week. It seems he has no ceiling. The striker finishes everything that reaches the box. Always physically dominant. Today he didn’t get his goal, but he earned another week in the starting XI.
**Substitutes:**
**Villares:** Came on after the break. The captain showed his usual lung-busting runs from box to box and changed the complexion of the game. His introduction was the first step in building a better Depor. He brought balance and purpose to the team’s play. He is pushing for a starting spot in Cádiz.
**Noé:** First touch, goal of a star. The academy graduate didn’t ask for permission and smashed the ball home from the edge of the box to put Depor ahead again. Always brave. A brilliant emergence from the young player.
**Zakaria:** Entered ten minutes after the restart and gave the team a different look. He came on fired up, scored his goal, and capitalized on Luismi’s gift. He was sharp with the ball and brought the extra intensity the game demanded. Good minutes from the forward. He became an unexpected protagonist in the Leganés penalty incident.
**Mulattieri:** Came on in the second half to give Nsongo a breather. He was not sharp and showed a clear lack of rhythm compared to his teammates. He tried but was unlucky.
**Deportivo 2 – Leganés 1:** Álvaro Ferllo saved the day, and the VAR helped Depor believe in promotion.
