The Atlanta Braves have activated shortstop Ha-Seong Kim from the injured list, making him available for his season debut on Monday. In a corresponding move, outfielder Eli White was placed on the seven-day concussion injured list.

Kim, 30, underwent offseason surgery to repair a torn tendon in his right middle finger. He played in nine minor league rehab games, batting .286 with a .412 on-base percentage.
Over five major league seasons—including his first four with the San Diego Padres—Kim has a .242 career batting average with 52 home runs and 217 RBIs in 588 games. He began his professional career in South Korea, playing seven seasons there.
White, 31, sustained the concussion on Sunday after crashing into the right-field wall while making a spectacular catch on a drive from Los Angeles Dodgers’ Max Muncy. He briefly remained in the game before exiting.
In 26 games this season, White is hitting .237 with two home runs and 10 RBIs. Across seven major league seasons with the Texas Rangers (2020-22) and Braves, he owns a .210 career average with 22 homers and 77 RBIs in 302 games.
