The women’s doubles final of the 2026 Jiangxi (Jiujiang) Open was held in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province on May 10, where the pair of Li Yaxin and Ye Qiuyu defeated Dang Yiming/You Xiaodi to claim the championship. 
In the final, the Dang Yiming/You Xiaodi team surged ahead quickly, taking the first set with sharp net play and steady execution in crucial points. In the second set, Li Yaxin and Ye Qiuyu adjusted their tactics, strengthening baseline resilience and increasing aggressiveness on returns, leveling the match. The deciding set was tightly contested, with both sides exchanging leads. At match point, Dang Yiming/You Xiaodi made an error, and Li Yaxin/Ye Qiuyu seized the opportunity to close out the match. 
After a three-set battle, Li Yaxin and Ye Qiuyu won 2-1 in a comeback victory to claim the women’s doubles title. After the match, the duo said they had deliberately adjusted their mindset before the match, staying relaxed and composed. “Facing pressure and falling behind, we remained focused on each point, playing steadily, and ultimately secured the win,” they noted. 
The 2026 Jiangxi (Jiujiang) Open marked the first time that an ATP Challenger Tour event and a WTA Series event were held concurrently, attracting nearly 130 professional players from over 20 countries and regions.
According to the organizing committee, the tournament accumulated over 10 million views across online and offline platforms.
Off the court, the event has clearly spurred urban development. The tournament introduced a “ticket root economy” model, allowing ticketholders to enjoy discounted admission to 12 4A-level and above scenic spots in Jiujiang within three days, along with offers at 35 restaurants.
