
Spain’s 3×3 head coach Pedro Meléndez has announced a 10-man roster for a training camp scheduled from May 11 to 14 in Valencia, aimed at preparing the team for the World Cup in Poland.
Following a silver medal finish at the 3×3 Champions Cup, the men’s national team is gearing up to defend its world title. The first phase of preparation will take place at L’Alqueria del Basket in Valencia. The squad will reconvene on May 25 before traveling to Warsaw on May 30. The World Cup, set to run from June 1 to 7 in the Polish capital, will see Spain placed in Group A alongside Serbia, Austria, Australia, and Madagascar. Six of the 10 called-up players rank among the FIBA top 100 individually, while Spain sits eighth in the federation rankings with 6.5 million points.
