“Congratulations to Barcelona on winning La Liga for the 2025/2026 season,” Real Madrid’s official social media account posted.
Barcelona now has 91 points from 35 matches, holding a 14-point lead over Real Madrid in second place with only three games left in the season. Real Madrid, also with 35 games played, can no longer mathematically catch the Catalan side, which is managed by Álvaro Arbeloa.
This marks Barcelona’s second consecutive La Liga championship. In the previous season, they finished with 88 points from 38 matches, four points ahead of Real Madrid.
