Wydad Athletic Club taunted their archrivals Raja Casablanca just hours after securing a hard-fought victory in the Casablanca derby on Saturday evening.
The derby match, part of Round 20 of the Moroccan Pro League, ended 1-0 in favor of Wydad. The deadlock was broken in the 40th minute when Congolese striker Joseph Bakaso found the back of the net.
With the win, Wydad climbed to fourth place with 37 points, while Raja remained top of the table with 39 points following the defeat.

Shortly after the match, Wydad’s official Facebook page posted a provocative video aimed at Raja, reminding them of their loss in the derby.
According to Moroccan outlet Le360, the page administrator took the provocation a step further by visiting Raja’s training ground on Sunday morning. There, they placed a poster reading “Casa Red” on the club’s entrance doors—a direct reference to the red color of Wydad’s jersey, implying that Casablanca now belongs to their rivals.

The phrase “Casa Red” plays on the idea that the city of Casablanca is draped in Wydad’s red colors, a symbolic jab at Raja’s white and green identity.
